How to play Proof!

1. Make an equation

Quick! Find an equation among the nine number cards on the table.

2. Shout the result

Once you've got one, shout the result before anyone else!

3. Show your proof

Tell everyone the proof. If your math adds up, keep the cards you used.

4. Keep the cards

Deal more and keep going. When the deck runs out, the player with the most cards wins!

Example equations

After placing 9 cards face up on the table, try to find equations using at least 3 of the 9 cards and any combination of +, -, x, ÷, and √ (square roots).

For example, below are some equations you could make with the cards shown at left. above. Remember to shout the answer first then show your work.
